Description
The retail associates will provide excellent service to our summer campers, camper families, outdoor education and retreat groups through sales, service, and product knowledge.
Handle money, including opening, closing, and reconciling cash drawers.
Organize merchandise in both store areas and storage closets.
Clean stores.
Open and close stores according to scheduled hours.
Manage merchandise and summer staff assisting in the Saturday Mega Store.
Attend all meetings, both departmental and camp-wide.
Be involved in other camp activities as planned by the Recreation and Ministry Departments, as the schedule allows, mainly after dinner hours.
Assist in various responsibilities in order to facilitate Sunday camper drop- off and Saturday camper pick-up.
Fulfill temporary assignments to other duties, including Cabin Leader, as needed.

Positional
Must be capable of running a cash drawer and making change.
Knowledge of Square is preferred.
Exhibits excellent customer service skills and is able to present a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude to all guests.
Has excellent communication skills and the ability to teach or lead others.
Works diligently for all set daily hours.
Is able to responsibly operate a golf cart.
Is able to carry boxes weighing up to 50 pounds up and down stairs.
Is able to physically traverse the multi-terrain campground in all seasons of the year; able to be on one's feet for long periods of time.
Candidates must be at least 16 years of age at time of hire to be considered for this position.
