We provide transportation and lunch for campers and counselors.
Camp runs from June 24th to August 15th. Closed July 4th. Mandatory staff training days in May/June.
Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team for an exciting summer camp experience. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for campers. You will be responsible for supporting specialisits in activities, providing support, and fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages personal growth and teamwork among campers.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with campers during various activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Implement daily schedule that promote physical, social, and emotional development, including sports, arts and crafts, theater, and educational games.
- Provide guidance and support to campers in developing new skills and building confidence.
- Foster a positive camp culture by encouraging teamwork, respect, and inclusivity among all participants.
- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members to ensure a smooth camp experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the camp facilities and equipment.
Experience
Ideal candidates will possess the following skills or experiences:
- Previous experience in childcare or working with children in settings such as daycare or summer camps.
- Desire to work with kids and have fun!
