Job Brief

As an Assistant Manager, you will work directly with both the General Manager & Assistant GM to help execute a premium experience for each camper from their first step onto the CAMP grounds to the moment they leave and any follow up after.

 

Your main focus will be managing a seamless shift for both the team on hand and the camper’s experience. You will be responsible to assist in training any new team members using our training manual and test out to drive hospitality forward. You must have a proactive approach to any conflict resolution; support team results by communicating the needs to the business in a positive light.

Responsibilities

●        Always lead by example of maintaining the Core Values of CAMP culture within the team consistent across the brand locations

●        Able to uphold a next level camper experience from check in to departure from the CAMPGrounds

●        Maintain a consistent presence on shift and while employed in your role at CAMP

●        Collaborate with GM and team to work towards completing quarterly goals

●        Assist in training new team members through executing the steps of the training manual provided test out, CAMP’s core values and the why behind what we do.

●        Attend and actively participate in MOD meetings, quarterly staff meetings and company culture outings

●        Support the location’s camper engagement through sales initiatives, camper conversions & daily email/text communications

●        Engage in a bi-annual conversations & review with the GM/AGM

●        Address any FOH performance issues directly to team members while on shift and document to the GM/AGM

●        Proactive approach to problem solving while on shift for any camper experience and environment issues

●        Communicate daily environment issues, incident reports health issues in MOD reports or directly to GM/AGM

●        Available to assistant the AGM with weekly F B inventory, retail inventory & sales drops, along with cleaning & equipment inventory

●        Assistant in any on or off site events, program challenges and annual sales

                                                                                               

Your weekly schedule will consist of an average of 5 MOD shifts per week, no less than 4 depending on the needs of the business, on/off site events and coverage for the team.

You are required to work select holidays, special events, weekends, early mornings and evenings depending on needs of CAMP. Mandatory shifts or non-travel dates may be required due to the location's schedule of events & sales; with a minimum of 30 days notice.

You will receive 12 PTO days off in one calendar year and access to our Health Insurance benefits after 90 days in this role.
