Party and Event Host (part-time)

CAMP is a Family Experience Company that helps answer the question, "What should we do today?" through a unique combination of retail, media, and entertainment. Launched in 2018, CAMP operates retail locations in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, New York, Dallas, Houston, DC and King of Prussia, PA and serves families everywhere via its digital platforms.

What is the Role? 

We are looking for a Party and Event Host (part-time) to join our CAMP Dallas team. You will work alongside other Party Hosts to provide unique, energetic and fun event and party experiences for our little Campers. Work is predominantly on weekends with advance notice. Shifts will be communicated when events and parties are booked. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Host and lead parties
• Greet and assist party guests and families with any items/decorations they bring
• Facilitate fun activities, games, crafts and party events
• Decorate party room, set up tables with party goods and food, clean up when the party is over
• Ensure a safe, clean and welcoming environment for children and families
• Work collaboratively with a team to provide an exceptional party experience
• Notify store leadership immediately if any assistance is needed

What is required?

• Ability to work at least one weekend day/week, but ideally both! 
• This role is part-time, and predominantly on weekends as events and parties are booked. Shifts will be communicated when events and parties are booked.

What are the physical demands?

• Exposure to outdoor elements such as sun, precipitation, and wind
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry and walk about the store
• Ability to safely operate manual and electrical equipment from time to time
• Able to be on your feet for up to 8 hours per shift and to continuously move around all areas of the store
• Kneeling and squatting from time to time when engaging children or stocking / restocking shelves

Compensation: $16.00/hr.
