Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Oversee general ledger activities and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with audits and tax filings.
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting policies.
• Lead and mentor junior accountants, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting setting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics) and Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
