Carson City Toyota is looking for an Automotive Technician to join our team in Carson City, NV. **Must have ASE certification.

$35.00 - $45.00/hour depending on experience

As a technician, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining and servicing vehicles. You must have the ability to work independently as well as be a team player. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, organized and has a desire to learn.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
- Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
- Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- Full scope of duties will be provided upon hire.
Qualifications
- Toyota Certified is required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician
- Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- Fast, eager learner and team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer skills
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Clean driving record & valid driver’s license required
- Successful candidate must pass a background and drug test (including THC)
