What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Associate, Grant Reporting position at CAMPAIGN FOR TOBACCO-FREE KIDS?
The Program Associate position within the Global Tobacco Control Programs will provide critical support to the team’s grant tracking and reporting. This position is based in Washington, D.C. and reports to the Executive Vice President (EVP), Global Tobacco Control Programs.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:
- Grant reporting-In coordination with the EVP, Global Tobacco Control Programs and with the EVP,
- US Tobacco Control Programs will draft monthly, quarterly and annual reports for primary funders in a timely manner.
- The position will coordinate with members of the Global Tobacco Control and US tobacco control management teams.
- Grant objectives tracking-In coordination with the EVP, Global Tobacco Control Programs, and members of the management team, maintain and update policy tracker to track progress against grant objectives
- Support Grant Related Activities on Global Tobacco Control
- Coordinate information gathering and inquiries on existing grants
- Support organization of workshops, and retreats related to grant deliverables
- Manage Calendar of Events/Travel related to the grant
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE:
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, public policy, communications, international development, or related field
- 1 (one) to 3 (three) years of relevant experience working on public health or community organizing initiatives.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and extremely organized.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Prior work in non-profit or non-governmental organizations a plus.
