General Description of the Role

Join our dynamic team and work closely with the Department Manager and Operations team to enhance the safety of Campari employees, drive environmental initiatives, and support training and documentation programs. This internship offers a full-time opportunity during the summer and a flexible part-time schedule during the fall and spring semesters to accommodate your class schedule.


Mission/Objectives

As an EHS Intern, you will support the Lawrenceburg location in maintaining a safe, effective, and efficient operation.


Key Responsibilities and Activities


  • Inspect facilities, machinery, and equipment to identify and correct potential improvements.
  • Provide assistance in writing Standard Operating procedures, Job Manuals and other related documents.
  • Review operators tasks and implement changes to improve Safety.
  • Study processes to reduce water and energy across the site.
  • Develop, support, and lead trainings for employees
  • Assist Managers with initiatives to include safety audits, Job Hazard Analysis, edit and update Policies and Procedures, participate in project work and incident investigation.
  • Assist in updates, communication and review of LOTO Procedures
  • Other tasks as assigned by management.

  • Experience developing and conducting trainings
  • Risk assessments
  • Incident investigation experience

Education / Professional Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Occupational Health and Safety (or Similar Degree)
