DIMENSIONS/SCOPE OF POSITION:
The Talent Acquisition Onboarding Specialist will source candidates for job openings, and develop, research, and implement processes for onboarding new hires. The Talent Acquisition Onboarding Specialist will also be responsible for conducting new hire orientation.
This is a full-time position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Post job in occurrence with department budgets. This position will own specific departments and be their contact person for all recruiting needs.
- Review resumes and conduct phone screenings before manager submission.
- Proactively filter candidates qualified for the position based on their application/resume matching the job description.
- May actively participate in the interviewing process by attending and conducting interviews.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and draft detailed job descriptions and determine hiring criteria. Ensure that job descriptions are compliant with ADA.
- Extend job offers to selected candidates with the approval of the hiring managers.
- Provide recruitment updates to managers on an ongoing basis to ensure recruitment is carried out per departmental budgets.
- Review and pull turnover reports.
- Conduct weekly new hire orientation.
- Develop creative solutions for hard to fill positions.
- Develop, research, and implement processes for onboarding new hires and new hire orientations.
- Collaborate with the HR management on developing, facilitating, and implementing all phases of the recruitment process.
- Collaborate with HR management on internal and external career fairs, school visits, sourcing strategies, and marketing strategies.
- Maintain the existing talent pool of applicants for current and potential future job opportunities.
- Assist HR Director and HR staff with various assignments.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required. Two to three years of Healthcare / HR recruiting experience is required.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in the English language.
Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic skills are required.
Reasoning Ability: Identifies and resolves problems promptly.
Computer Skills: Must have advanced computer skills; HRIS system administration and ADP experience preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Not Applicable
Other Skills and Abilities: Able to listen and respond well to questions and feedback.
