Essential Functions:
- Plans and implements daily activities based on developmental stages, promoting problem-solving and creative thinking.
- Maintains detailed records of each child's activities, feedings, diaper changes, nap times, and attitude.
- Ensures childcare standards are met, adhering to regulations and company policies.
- Responsible for the welfare, health, and safety of children in care.
- Participates in department meetings, continuing education, and offers recommendations for improvement.
- Develops professional relationships with department customers, families, and coworkers.
- Maintains a clean and safe environment, participating in housekeeping duties.
- Notifies managers of supply needs.
- Actively participates in quality improvement initiatives, inspections, and surveys.
- Maintains confidentiality of children and family information.
- Complies with hospital policies, laws, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Early Childhood education or experience working with children is required.
- Experience: Previous experience is preferred; must be at least 16 years old.
