Job Summary
The IT Intern will assist our IT department with essential technical tasks. Essential Functions:
- Unbox and set up computers, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Assist in moving, organizing, and managing IT equipment within the hospital.
- Prepare outdated equipment for disposal and storage.
- Provide support for IT staff with basic troubleshooting tasks.
- Perform other IT-related duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Education
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate IT-related degree program is preferred but not required.
- Students from non-IT programs with an interest in technology are encouraged to apply.
Experience:
- No prior IT experience required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong willingness and commitment to learn.
- Ability to move and transport IT equipment as needed.
