Job Description:
The Medical Informatics Analyst at Campbell County Health works under the supervision of the Manager of IT Applications to coordinate the development and maintenance of Meditech and other clinical applications. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and data integrity, while ensuring seamless integration of system changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation for health system applications.
- Participating in efforts to maintain components of the clinical and operational information systems.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into solutions.
- Representing departmental needs in application configuration and implementation.
- Providing exceptional customer service and following up with customers to ensure their technical issues are resolved.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, healthcare, or related field, and/or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- At least two years of healthcare experience and two years of analyst experience supporting an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Certifications and/or proficiency in an EMR system preferred, with Meditech 6.15/Expanse experience preferred.
