Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Campbell County Health. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care and be able to provide professional nursing care to assigned patients in a fast-paced emergency room environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage patients and determine priority of care based on physical, psychological, and social needs
- Record patient histories, perform diagnostic tests, administer medications, and develop patient care plans with other medical professionals
- Assist physicians during examinations and emergency procedures, operate and monitor medical equipment as necessary
- Observe patients' progress, record observations in patient medical records, and update attending physicians directly when necessary
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Experience in critical care preferred
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
