About the Position
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Pre-Anesthesia Testing Nurse to join our Surgical Services team at Campbell County Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and exceeding patient expectations.
Your primary focus will be on conducting thorough pre-anesthesia evaluations, developing individualized plans of care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
As a Pre-Anesthesia Testing Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to provide exceptional care and support throughout the perioperative process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia evaluations, including assessments of physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, taking into account patient preferences, values, and goals.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including medical history, allergies, and medication lists.
- Participate in hospital-wide initiatives to improve patient satisfaction, safety, and quality of care.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Wyoming.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in medical-surgical or critical care nursing, preferably in a pre-anesthesia setting.
- ACLS certification required.
