TITLE: Youth Cheerleader Director
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma
- Posses the professional and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with athletes, coaches, school personnel and the community.
- Experience/Background in athletics
REPORTS TO: Elementary/Middle School Athletic Director
JOB GOAL: To provide organized youth cheerleading opportunities for Campbell County School District youth.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, print, copy and distribute registration and liability release forms
- Collect registration and liability release forms from individual schools
- Organize students onto squads in various divisions and secure coaches (grades 1-6)
- Schedule gym/field time at respective schools within the district
- Develop both practice and game schedules
- Hold a training session for coaches to develop a quality coaching staff
- Order uniforms and other equipment as necessary
- Regularly check in with gym and field supervisors for communicating concerns, etc.
- Act as the liaison between the league and the school district
- Other duties that develop and are not listed (i.e. phone calls, parent contact, fundraising, etc.)
