Jacksboro Middle School is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to serve as the Head Coach for Football and Girls Basketball. This position requires leadership, commitment, and a passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the field/court.
Qualifications:
- Must be a current Campbell County Schools employee
- Coaching experience at the middle school or high school level
- Strong background in fundraising and program development
- Ability to mentor and motivate student-athletes while promoting academic success
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of TMSAA rules and regulations
Responsibilities:
- Work with the administration and bookkeeper to adhere to all financial responsibilities
- Plan and lead all aspects of the football and girls' basketball programs
- Develop and implement practice schedules, game strategies, and player development plans
- Coordinate fundraising efforts to support team needs and activities
- Work collaboratively with administration, faculty, parents, and the community
- Ensure student-athletes uphold academic and behavioral expectations
- Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive school performance
