Schedule to be arranged. Day, evening, and weekend availability required.
Coordinates assigned tasks related to the daily operation of the library's Young Adult department, including managing the teen room. Coordinates the development and presentation of literature-based programs for assigned age groups ranging from middle school through high school, aiming to develop literacy. Provides knowledgeable readers’ advisory and reference services. Coordinates, trains, and directs staff. Assists patrons, including teens, in finding materials for recreational and educational needs. Collects and maintains physical and digital collections.
Pay Grade: 107
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a library setting EDUCATION/TRAINING: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Library Science, Early Childhood Education, Literature, or a related field Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities
