Job Description Summary:
Title and Genealogy Heirship Research
-Perform research, including genealogical research, land research, and intestacy and inheritance research.
-Examine property transaction documents, tax records, court records, death records, wills, maps, oil and gas leases, as well as other legal documentation.
-Search real estate records, examine title research, and verify oil and gas leaseholders.
-Compile documentation into a comprehensive PDF that exhibits pertinent documentation that supports the research findings.
-Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
-Personal laptop
-Software Subscriptions: Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Office, yEd Graph Program, and Dropbox
-Must be able to pass a background check.
Job Qualifications:
- Must be proficient in using a computer and in a variety of software programs including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Must have time management skills and be able to efficiently work on multiple projects within a week time period.
- Must be able to closely follow established procedures and protocols.
- Must be a quick learner and have high attention to detail.
