As a RN Unit Manager, you will oversee the nursing care provided to residents on your unit and ensure that the highest standards of care are being maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the delivery of nursing care to residents in your unit
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff
- Develop and implement care plans for residents in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Ensure that documentation and charting are accurate and timely
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Provide education and training to nursing staff
Requirements:
- Valid RN license in the state of New York
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a long-term care setting
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care facilities
