We are currently seeking a Junior JavaScript React Front End Developer with a proven background in front-end development to join our dedicated Digital Solutions team.

General Summary

We are looking for a Junior JavaScript React Front End Developer. Your primary focus will be assisting in the development of user-facing web applications and components. You'll help implement them with the React framework, following generally accepted practices and workflows. You will ensure that you produce robust, secure, modular, and maintainable code. You will coordinate with other team members, including back-end developers and UX/UI designers. Your commitment to team collaboration, perfect communication, and a quality product is crucial.

Responsibilities:

• Creating software code, and unit tests and assisting with encoding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Understand client requirements and assist with translating designs into software applications.
• Uses coding methods in specific programming languages to initiate or enhance program execution and functionality.
• Perform installation of code releases and patches and write scripts or programs for IT applications.
  
  

Skills:

• 1-2 years of experience in programming primarily with JavaScript, HTML & CSS for front-end application development.
• Proven experience in object-oriented design & development.
• Proven, hands-on experience with development frameworks like React.JS, Angular.JS, Vue.JS.
• Prior work interacting with PHP backends preferred.
• Ability to set up and maintain a development environment on company provided equipment.
• Experience in writing and consuming web services and APIs.
• Agency experience is a plus.
• Experience with Typescript is a plus.
• Prior experience working with a small, fast-moving team is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
• Experience supporting non-native mobile applications desired.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S and located in the Eastern Time Zone.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Working knowledge of Ionic, Capacitor, and React Native.
• Use of the above to create iOS and Android apps.

Additional Information:

• Agency Environment.
• U.S. Based Employment, Eastern Time Zone work hours.
