Pay and benefits
· $25.00 per hour once you’re solo
- Quarterly profit bonuses. Rather than offering commission which turns you into a salesperson, we encourage our employees to do what’s right for our customers 100% of the time. The better the business does, the more money we all make.

A day in the life of a pest control technician:
- Conduct inspections on commercial and residential properties using a company-provided van.
- Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to find the best solution for rodents, ants, spiders, wasps, and an assortment of random pests that pop up daily.
- Talk with home owners and business owners so they feel confident in your recommendations
- Apply chemicals (we focus on eco-friendly products) and perform basic handy-man tasks like applying spray foam, putting up wire mesh, and installing weather stripping.
- Calculate concentrations for pesticide applications and record them for compliance purposes
- Send invoices and track your hours in the field with a company-provided mobile device
- Care about the planet, people and profits. All three matter.
General job requirements
- This is a full time position servicing the greater Portland area.
- You must obtain an ODA license within 60 days of being hired. We'll pay for a prep course and provide study materials.

- You must be able to maneuver inside tight spaces such as crawl spaces
- You must be physically fit enough to crawl, bend, and climb a ladder
- You must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- You must have basic math skills to calculate concentrations and quantities for pesticide applications
- You should have a professional appearance that makes people feel comfortable when you show up to their homes
The fine print
- You must be legally able to work in the United States
- You must have a valid driver’s license
- You must have a good driving record (one or fewer violations in the last 36 months)
- A criminal background check will be conducted
- You must be 18 years of age or older
