POSITION OVERVIEW
The Brand Associate will work directly with the business and marketing team to grow various brands through digital media and traditional marketing channels. The Brand Associate is responsible for supporting the development and execution of brand strategies to enhance brand awareness, promote customer engagement, and drive business growth. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring consistent brand messaging and image across various marketing channels and customer touchpoints. The Brand Associate collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product development, and creative teams, to align brand initiatives with overall business objectives. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Brand Strategy and Planning:
Contribute to the development of brand strategies and marketing plans in collaboration with the business, brand manager or marketing team.
- Assist in planning, developing, and executing monthly content calendars.
- Analyze data for all digital media platforms and apply results to future content calendars. Assist in conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify brand positioning opportunities.
- Help define target audience segments and develop customer personas to guide brand messaging and communication.
Brand Messaging and Communication:
- Support the creation and maintenance of brand guidelines to ensure consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all channels.
- Assist in developing compelling and effective brand messages for various marketing materials, including advertisements, website content, social media posts, and sales campaigns.
- Collaborate with the business and creative team to develop visually appealing and on-brand marketing collateral, such as brochures, presentations, and videos.
- Assist in organizing and planning customer engagement and other corporate related events.
- Design graphics and gather material for the business and marketing departments.
Brand Activation and Campaign Execution:
- Assist in the implementation of brand activation plans and campaigns, including coordinating promotional activities, events, and partnerships.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Support the execution of marketing initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with sales teams to ensure alignment between brand strategies and sales initiatives.
- Collaborate with product development teams to provide market insights and contribute to new product launches or product enhancements.
- Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and partners to ensure brand consistency in all external communications and collaborations.
Brand Monitoring and Reporting:
- Assist in preparing regular reports on business and brand performance, tracking key metrics, and presenting findings to the VP of Sales Operations, brand manager or relevant stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in branding and marketing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of branding principles, marketing concepts, and customer segmentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create compelling brand messages.
- Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and social media management.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Familiarity with market research methodologies and tools is a plus.
- Prior experience in brand management, marketing, or related roles is advantageous.
