Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified mathematics teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching mathematics to students in grades 7-12 and be knowledgeable about the New York State Learning Standards.

Responsibilities:

• Teach mathematics courses to students in grades 7-12
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver instruction

Requirements:

• N.Y.S. teacher certification in mathematics or a related field
• Successful prior teaching or student teaching experience
• Knowledge of New York State Learning Standards
• Working knowledge of NYS special education law
• Collaborative team member
