Campbell Transportation Company, Inc., is looking for a summer intern that is driven and willing to learn. The goal of this program is to help further develop your skills in a professional work environment. As a Logistics Intern, you will be working closely with the VP of Gulf Logistics who will provide you with real hands-on projects and daily tasks.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Analyze traffic and logistical flow within the US Inland Waterways to better understand route optimization and planning.
- Assist in the coordination and dispatching of CTC Gulf tank barges and boats, understanding operational constraints.
- Learn about maritime safety regulations and environmental compliance impacting logistics operations.
- Participate in logistics strategy meetings to understand the decision-making process.
- Engage with software tools used for logistics management, including tracking and scheduling of vessels.
- Assist customer service representatives and Logistics manager with daily logistics activities.
- Additional duties as assigned.
