There may be an opportunity for continuation of the position in subsequent semesters, subject to departmental needs and student enrollment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Instruct one section of Essentials of Human Anatomy & Physiology (BIOL 221) during fall semester 2025.
- Develop and manage course materials from learning objectives and selected textbook provided by the lab coordinator of the course.
- Present lectures to our students as required.
- Select and compile exams and assignments.
- Evaluate and assess student performance including analyzing exam items using available software.
- Interact with students and field questions pertaining to lectures outside class time, as needed.
- Work with the lab coordinator and lab instructors of the course to incorporate lab grades into the running grades for the course.
- Participate in student evaluations.
- Handle student record keeping in a timely and complete manner including submitting grades.
- This position demands accuracy, honesty, integrity, and the ability to work within the Christian mission of Campbell University.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Masters or Ph.D. in mammalian anatomy and/or physiology, related graduate degree in Biology, or other graduate/professional education in related field of study.
- Teaching Experience in higher education is preferred.
- Communicate effectively through both oral and written channels.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and attention to detail are essential.
- Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and the Internet
- Demonstrate tact, a positive attitude, courtesy and discretion in dealing with trustees, faculty, staff, students, high-level university officials and the public.
- Work independently as well as function effectively in a team and within a diverse group of people.
- Exercise independent judgment in complex and new situations.
- Manage multiple, concurrent projects, and meet strict deadlines.
- Detail-oriented and willing to work in a changing environment.
- Broad knowledge of Campbell University policies and procedures, including but not limited to FERPA and Title IX guidelines.
