Position Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Director of Sales, the part-time game day ticket sales associate will work in the ticket booth for select football, basketball, baseball and wrestling events, assisting in the game day sales of tickets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sell tickets, answer phones and questions on game days.
- Work in the ticket booth of select home games.
- Perform any additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Sales.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- This candidate must exemplify the goals, values, and objectives of the program while adhering to the Christian mission and purpose of Campbell University.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Prior experience working in an intercollegiate and/or professional athletics broadcast.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong organizational and administrative skills are required.
- Maintain strict confidentiality, attention to detail and ability to work in change environment are essential.
- Display a positive attitude, courtesy and discretion in dealing with student athletes, parents, administrative staff, opposing coaches and players, and the public.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations to ensure institutional compliance with athletic initiatives.
- Work independently as well as function effectively in a team and within a diverse group of people.
- Upon hire, broad knowledge of Campbell University policies and procedures, including, but not limited to; Title IX, HIPAA and FERPA guidelines.
