Pay range: $22.70- $24.00 DOE

Position type: Full Time/Regular

Summary: Campbell’s Maintenance Department is seeking a year-round, experienced Engineering Technician III

to join our qualified maintenance team. We are looking for someone who can communicate and interact with guests and other departments to repair and solve issues as they arise. The ideal candidate will get along well with others while maintaining a cheerful and positive attitude.  

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 21 years of age.  
  • Must hold a valid Washington State driver's license.
  • Knowledge of general electricity and plumbing standards with advance knowledge of refrigeration.
  • Fully proficient with, and capable of operating power and hand tools.
  • Standard plumbing experience 1 year minimum. 
  • Minimum of six (6) years of finish carpentry experience.
  • Minimum of six (6) years' experience in industrial electro/mechanical maintenance.
  • Enthusiastic about customer service.
  • Possess problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload with demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated: can find work to do and complete it with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable with heights, will need to be able to climb 18-foot ladders, work with Genie lift and comfortable working on the roof.
  • Capable of completing preventative maintenance with instructions and minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of industry standard safety practices such as: LOTO, PPE, permitting, hot work, equipment line break, fall protection, safe work, accident prevention, etc.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to safely lift to 50 pounds, and carry loads up stairs and lift items overhead.
  • Constant walking, standing, pushing, pulling, carrying, lifting, kneeling, bending, stooping, and moving during working hours.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, and electrical systems as instructed by leadership while following all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Make necessary carpentry repairs as needed.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and repair all maintenance problems to create a maintenance-free environment, reduce costs and ensure customer satisfaction.  
  • Perform physical inspection and calibration, preventative maintenance, and repairs on all mechanical and electrical assets impacting the operation of the facility, physical structure, and exterior grounds.
  • Utilize onsite motorized lift and rental equipment as needed while operating, inspecting, calibrating, and maintaining equipment.
  • Purchase miscellaneous repair items with your supervisor's approval.
  • Remove snow and de-ice property in winter, as needed.  Run snow plow.  
  • Clean and service all ice machines.
  • Assist in safety inspections and fire suppression testing, reporting any issues to management. 
  • Evaluate, identify, and correct safety hazards associated with the facility or job performance.
  • Perform assigned tasks in a timely manner, using proper materials and tools.  
  • Work the late shift if scheduled.  Assist with room deliveries.  Offer whatever assistance guests may need.
  • Store tools in their proper places.
  • Answer guests' questions, be knowledgeable about Campbell's services and history, and Lake Chelan recreational opportunities,
  • Wear a clean uniform and maintain a clean, well-groomed neat appearance.
  • Be a team member: show enthusiasm and help other staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Ask for help when you need it.
  • Suggest improvements to managers to improve the quality of our guest service.
  • Always maintain a professional attitude and presence.
  • Act as a role model for other staff.
  • Follow all safety standards and use proper personal protective equipment.

 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: 
 
This is a full-time position, expected work hours are based on seasonal volume, business demand, and hours of operation. Weekends and holidays are also necessary. Must be flexible and willing to adapt schedule to meet business demands.
