AutoCAD Drafter

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD software and possess a strong understanding of architectural design principles. This role involves creating precise shop drawings and schematics that will be used to coordinate with clients and to fabricate our steeples and cupolas. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our team to bring our products to life through detailed drafting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create shop drawings that meet project specifications.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from team members and clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with our standards.
• Maintain organized documentation of all drafts and revisions for future reference.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Experience in architectural drafting is preferred.
• Familiarity with Sketchup for 3D modeling is preferred.
• Ability to create detailed schematics and drawings with precision.
• Strong attention to detail is a must.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• A degree or certification in Drafting Technology or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
