In person training, Summer Ministry Opportunity @ Campbellsville University
This position offers the following three components
Serve as a member of the C.U. Summer Camp Staff
Help get residence halls ready for summer campers
Make sure the keys are sorted and in the correct envelopes before each camp arrives
Check rooms in the residence halls for placement of furniture
Enter camper information in an Admissions database
Work camp concessions
Assist camp groups during the check-in and checking-out process
Be available for the campers when they have a question or need assistance
Serve as a member of the New Student Orientation Team
Greet new students and families when they arrive on campus
Lead student activities
Participate on student panels
Give tours of campus
Work closely with the New Student Orientation Leadership Team
Serve as a Summer R.A. in the Residence Halls
Help the GRM with basic needs in the residence halls
Be a resource/informational person for the groups staying in the residence halls
Assist with campers checking into the residence halls
Assist with campers checking out of the residence halls
Walk through with group leader to check for damages & cleanliness when a group checks out of the residence hall
Be a residence hall monitor especially in the evenings. All of the camps have a curfew time - help the adult chaperones enforce this when you see a camper out after curfew.
