ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Functions in capacity as Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) officer
2. Maintain a high degree of knowledge of appropriate BSA/AML/OFAC and USA PATRIOT Act related to laws and regulations. Identifies and reviews laws and regulations that impact the credit union’s compliance requirements such as Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, OFAC, and other regulator or legal changes. Distributes pertinent information to appropriate department heads with areas to consider evaluating.
3. On an on-going basis, review laws and regulations that impact the credit unions compliance requirements, with emphasis on Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Action, and OFAC.
4. Identify and report unusual or suspicious activities in compliance with the BSA/Anti-Money Laundering Act. File Currency Transaction Reports promptly and ensure all regulatory reports are queued, filed, and completed on time.
5. Ensure the Executive Team are kept fully informed of the conditions and operations of the Credit Union as it relates to compliance matters and important factors influencing those.
6. Maintains Credit Union’s policy and procedure management system. Ensure that the Credit Union is in compliance with federal laws and regulations set forth by the National Credit Union Administration and other regulatory agencies. These procedures may include fraud, collections, BSA, and other compliance initiatives. Will assist in developing and reviewing all other policies and procedures.
7. Ensures that changes in policy and procedures are clearly communicated to impacted management, departments, or the credit union. Follows up to ensure new procedures are understood and implemented.
8. Maintains expertise in the fraud/anti-money laundering program, including assessing current and emerging high-risk transactional activities. This includes 314(b) Voluntary Information Sharing.
9. Review file maintenance reports as scheduled according to procedures and regulations, including but not limited to:
a. Share/Loan dividend/rate changes
b. Dormant Account Activity
c. Adverse Action Compliance
d. Maintenance Files
e. Business Account
f. New Account
g. Employee Credit Card
h. Loan Files
10. Supports Credit Union departments for compliance, and follow-up on corrective actions to avoid future compliance problems.
11. Work with auditors/examiners to obtain records as needed.
12. Assists in regulatory and compliance training for all employees, management, Board, and Supervisory committee members.
13. Conducted thorough reviews of member and business accounts to identify high-risk profiles and monitor monthly.
14. Responsible for researching compliance with new and existing regulation training.
15. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
16. Adhere to all Federal and State laws and regulations applicable to the credit union, including the Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC.

- Represents the Credit Union to the members in a courteous and professional manner and provides prompt, efficient and accurate service in the processing of transactions.
- May participate in the credit union’s long and short-term strategic planning.
- Assist Supervisory Auditor and Federal Examiner.
- Attend meetings and training seminars as assigned or requested.
- Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Credit Union’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training lending staff; interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees. Address complaints and resolve problems.

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience, Competencies and Education
- Minimum five years’ experience in credit union operations
- Experience relating to credit union compliance and internal controls required.
- Prior experience as a credit union BSA officer preferred.
- NCCO, CUCE, NCBSO, NCRM, or similar compliance certifications a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or another related field preferred.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
a. Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and other Microsoft programs.
b. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
c. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from staff, managers, clients, members and the general public
d. Ability to read & interpret P&P manuals, NCUA Rules & Regulations, and any Federal Regulation related to job responsibilities
e. Excellent basic mathematical skills required (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication using whole numbers, fractions and decimals)
f. Must be proficient at accurately counting currency
g. Ability to process work with accuracy
h. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
i. Strong organizational skills
j. Proficient problem solving and reasoning ability
Certification/Licensure Required
State issued valid driver’s license (or state with reciprocity) and current automobile insurance meeting State of Wyoming minimum limits.

All employees of Campco Federal Credit Union (this includes full time, part time and temporary) are required to complete training provided by the credit union. BSA (Bank Secrecy Act/Anti Money Laundering), US Patriot Act (Member Identification) and OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) training must be completed before the employee is placed in their position with the credit union. All employees (full time, part time and temporary) are required to complete this training on an annual basis. If the employee refuses to complete the above training requirements, this will be grounds for immediate dismissal.
