This role is responsible for facilitating the buying of used recreational vehicle and travel trailer inventory from prospective sellers and the sales of used inventory through our many locations.

Essential Job Functions

- Actively engage and contact prospects to obtain used recreational vehicle or travel trailer inventory. This includes sourcing prospects and maintaining the contact information.
- Evaluate the condition of the RV and make proposals to leadership regarding the negotiation and transaction of the inventory.
- Effectively negotiate and purchase inventory to maintain company minimum levels. This includes timely completion of paperwork.
- Proactively support and work with other employees, departments and/or locations to give the customer a seamless experience in ways that promote teamwork. This includes scheduling and communicating the reconditioning status, advertising status and pending sale status of the recreational vehicle or trailer.
- Perform standard weekly duties that include but are not limited to attending to hiring needs, manual checks of equity and vendors, payoff verification from banks, completing expense reports and travel reimbursements, completing purchase agreement packets, and maintain account records as needed
- Follow our proven sales process when consigning the inventory
Qualifications
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- License & Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required
- Experience:
- Minimum of two years of experience in the RV industry is preferred
- Abilities:
- Knowledgeable regarding recreational vehicles and travel trailers systems
- Excellent analytical skills with the capabilities to be flexible and work with people
- Detail oriented ability to guide customers through the process of a purchase or sale
- Ability to work independently and strive to obtain goals
- Ability to use a computer and other office supplies
- Knowledge or ability to learn company systems software such as Motility Systems2k as well as other applicable software
- Ability to travel locally
