- Hiring and monitoring the performance of the department managers, directly overseeing the sales department, holding weekly meetings and conducting training
- Conducting operations as the figurehead of the dealership, and coaching the location’s team to have an exceptional culture and high performance
- Overseeing standards for displaying and merchandising inventory as well as working with the inventory management to appropriately supply the store’s inventory
- Coordinating the appropriate supply of new and used RV's and ordering/acquiring vehicle inventory accordingly
- Auditing all appraisals of trade-in RV's
- Ensuring that appropriate dealership records are maintained
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Four-year degree is preferred
- License & Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record are required
- Must be able to obtain State Sales license if applicable
- Experience:
- Minimum of two years of dealership management is highly preferred
- Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication and managerial skills
- Ability to operate the department profitably within dealership guidelines
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations that affect the daily operations of the organization
- Ability to use a computer and other office equipment
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn company systems applications, including Motility Systems2K, ADP, and other software as applicable
- Ability to bend or sit for long periods of time
- Requires continuous visual ability for use of computer, files, and reports
- Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
