Caregiver (HHA) FT Evening Shift|Up $21.50/hr + Super Benefits

The Position: We’re looking for a full time caregiver for the evening shift. The working hours are 1:45pm to 10:15pm, with every other weekend off. Base pay is $18.50 per hour, plus opportunities for additional pay differentials.

The Organization: Camphill Ghent, Inc. located in Chatham, NY opened in 2012 and provides independent and assistant living residence to 70 residents in an elder community setting.

Requirements:

• Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is preferred, but we will accept CNA/PCA applicants as well as anyone interested in working in the health care field.
• Prior experience working with elders is preferred.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 30 pounds, and to spend long periods of time walking/standing.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be in compliance with NYS Dept. of Health COVID-19 vaccine mandate for health care workers

Responsibilities include assisting with:

• Personal care and administering medications
• Social and recreational activities
• Helping to serve meals, setting dining tables, and cleaning the dining room
• Maintaining a clean, comfortable and safe environment
