What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flat Rate Service Professional position at Camping World?
We are seeking a skilled service technician specialist to join our team at Camping World. As a service technician, you will be responsible for providing and documenting complete diagnostic test and repair or replacement services to customers, performing electrical, plumbing, carpentry and appliance maintenance, tracking all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements, keeping the supervisor appraised of work progress, ensuring that the final work product meets quality standards and is inspected by supervisor or designee, maintaining a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
The ideal candidate will have certification from college or technical school in trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.), minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred, RVIA certification helpful but not required, potential exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment, possible exposure to environmental conditions including heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness, prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling and bending, must furnish own hand/shop tools, must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices, valid driver's license.
