What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineer I position at Campos EPC LLC?
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develop specifications and drawings for assigned projects including design calculations.
- Help develop project objectives, estimates and responsibilities by reviewing client requirements, project proposals and plans, and conferring with the Program Director, Project Manager and client representatives.
- Assist in determining project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
- Work with Project Manager and other team members in developing a comprehensive workflow process, tasks, and project assignments.
- Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and status reports. Plan and schedule changes; recommending actions to ensure project stays on-time and on-budget while meeting client specifications.
- Ensure project compliance with appropriate government regulations, safety rules, and company and client policies.
- Participate in meetings to discuss/resolve technical issues with internal staff and clients.
- Assist the Program Manager and Project Manager with project planning, scheduling, and manpower estimates.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
- 1-2 years of work experience, work experience in oil and gas industry preferred.
- Experience working both independently and, in a team, oriented, collaborative environment.
