Camp Quitcherbichin, an upscale glamping resort in the picturesque Runaway Bay, Texas, is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mixology, dedicated to exceptional guest service, and eager to contribute to memorable experiences within our unique outdoor luxury setting.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by established recipes and guest preferences.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the drink menu, including specialty cocktails, local beverages, and appropriate food pairings.
- Efficiently operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to ensure accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking of the bar area, including liquors, garnishes, mixers, and glassware.
- Monitor guest consumption and adhere to responsible serving practices to ensure guest safety and compliance.
- Collaborate with kitchen and event staff during special events and banquets for smooth service delivery.
- Adhere consistently to food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience in hospitality settings, such as fine dining, resorts, nightlife, or special events, is preferred.
- Proficiency in POS system usage and cash handling.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques and beverage trends.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
