Student Quarters is a vertically integrated owner and operator of US-based Class A student housing properties with a current portfolio of assets under management of approximately $1.3B across 12,300 beds in 28 assets.
Student Quarters has an extremely active acquisition pipeline and aggressive plan for substantial growth and is seeking to hire an Acquisitions Analyst. Student Quarters flat structure affords individuals the opportunity for accelerated career progression and to have a real impact on the growth of the business. Role and Responsibility:
- Lead underwriting and financial modeling of student housing property acquisitions, analyze trailing statements, and prepare competitive analysis
- Develop deep market expertise in target markets to gain a clear understanding of an assets market position and business plan
- Lead the preparation of investment committee papers and investor updates
- Assist in conducting due diligence activities for each transaction closing
- Provide support across all aspects of Student Quarters investor relations activities
- Contribute to the excellent team dynamic already in place
Requirements:
- Some experience within real estate: multifamily, senior housing, or student housing
- Very developed analytical and financial modeling skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bachelors degree
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment, ability to handle multiple high-priority projects and deliver polished materials
- A motivated self-starter, problem solver and team player
