JOB SUMMARY:
The Proposal Writing & Marketing Coordinator provides administrative and marketing support to the Business Development team and assists with the team's primary business development and marketing functions. This position is responsible for coordinating proposals, developing marketing materials, managing digital content, and assisting with event planning. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, creative, and committed to maintaining Campus Construction Management’s corporate philosophy of outstanding client satisfaction, business ethics, and principles.
REPORTS TO: Director of Business Development
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Marketing Coordinator will provide administrative support and hands-on assistance with the following primary functions:
Proposal & Presentation Development
· Coordinate, develop, and produce proposals, ensuring high-quality copywriting, layout, and copy editing.
· Update and maintain marketing collateral, including staff résumés, project descriptions, and templates.
· Prepare client presentations and interview materials to support business development efforts.
Marketing & Brand Management
· Create and produce marketing materials, including qualifications packages, brochures, sponsorship ads, press releases, and signage.
· Maintain brand consistency across all materials and communications.
· Update and maintain the company website and social media platforms to enhance digital presence.
Event Planning & Public Relations
· Plan and coordinate trade shows, special events, and public relations opportunities.
· Assist in sponsorship and advertising efforts to support company visibility and outreach.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of related work experience, training and/or education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
· A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of professional marketing experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of relevant internship / co-op experience. Prior experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
· Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
· Self-starter and creative copywriter with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
· Excellent people skills including customer relations, diplomacy, and assertiveness
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud programs (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, Illustrator)
· Graphic design experience is preferred, but not required
· Basic understanding of marketing principles and brand management
· Demonstrated ability to contribute to and achieve marketing and business development key objectives and goals.
