Position Summary:
The Embroidery Specialist will be responsible for operating and maintaining embroidery machines to customize garments and other textile products. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, be able to follow specific instructions, and ensure high-quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain embroidery machines (experience with Brother, Barudan, Tajima preferred).
- Prepare and set up embroidery designs using provided specifications.
- Read and interpret work orders and patterns to ensure correct placement and design details.
- Inspect final products for accuracy, quality, and consistency.
- Perform routine maintenance on embroidery machines to ensure smooth operation.
- Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and ensure high standards of workmanship.
- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist in troubleshooting any machine issues or embroidery problems that arise during production.
- Work with specialized Embroidery Software for Digitization.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in embroidery or textile production preferred.
- Knowledge of embroidery machine operation (Barudan, Tajima, or similar machines).
- Basic understanding of design software (e.g., Wilcom, Pulse, or similar) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Capable of lifting materials (up to 30 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent prefeered
