With direct guidance in a team environment, responsible for performing basic inspection requirements. Manager prefers someone with quality inspection experience in aerospace and metals, but will consider other industries in the manufacturing world or those that are highly regulated. Medical inspection is permissible, although not preferred to oil/gas, automotive, rail, etc. Please note any specific names of inspection forms the inspector is used to working from in the past on their resume.

- One year inspection or related inspection experience in aerospace or raw metal manufacturing/production environments.
- demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.
- May be asked to become certified as a Level 1 Nondestructive Test Inspector (not at cost to employee) in magnetic particle inspection and/or liquid penetrate inspection. The certification must be in accordance with MIL-STD-410 and PES1-29.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, manufacturer's specifications and internal drawings and procedures.
- Ability to use and/or calibrate mechanical, hydraulic and electrical instruments/gages.
- Possess working knowledge of machine shop mathematics.
- May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
