Job Description
BS or BA degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or biochemistry (with relevant chemistry lab experience) is required..
Job Description
Conduct analytical testing on both organic and inorganic samples using standard methods such as ASTM.
Perform test chemical experiments to support ongoing research and operational projects.
Strictly adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
Accurately record and maintain experimental data to ensure consistency and reliability of results.
Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and stay updated with current industry practices.
Prepare technical reports and organize information for senior chemists' review.
Collaborate with team members to address challenges and improve testing methodologies.
Manage and safely dispose of chemicals as per environmental and safety standards.
Skills And Competencies
Basic knowledge of chemical processes and laboratory techniques.
Experience conducting experiments in a chemical laboratory.
High attention to detail with a commitment to producing high quality work.
Ability to follow complex scientific procedures and protocols.
Efficient organizational skills to balance multiple tasks and priorities.
Experience in using laboratory equipment and familiarity with computer-based data management systems.
