Description
- Operate manual and/or computer controlled saws (ID, wire, C&C) to cut LSO crystal material from boules and/or slabs.
- Install rollers as needed
- Service and maintenance of all saws.
- Evaluate and log sawing failure rates for trend analysis
- Additional duties include bonding material to be cut.
- Machinist apprentice or mechanical QC experience required.
- Basic Machining skills required
- 3-5 years experience in the use of dial indicators, calipers and other machine measuring tools.
- Must be able to read detailed mechanical drawings.
- Basic computer operational skills required.
- Attention to documentation detail is a necessity.
