The Disclosure Desk Specialist provides branch support by generating initial disclosures and re-disclosures in accordance with federal, state, and agency regulations to ensure required timelines are met. The Disclosure Desk Specialist is also responsible for reviewing disclosure packages for accuracy of data and information and routing disclosures appropriately.
Responsibilities:
- Verify the accuracy of data input of loan fees and charges prior to disclosing to the borrower.
- Research discrepancies on files during the disclosing process and discuss with LO or appropriate department.
- Prepare a variety of mortgage disclosure documents accurately and within required timeframes.
- Audit disclosure packages to verify all required disclosures (Federal & State) are included.
- Collaboratively partner with colleagues to ensure all required disclosures are accounted for and delivered within defined timelines.
- Complete data input on loans in loan system.
- Review loan disclosures, audit for completeness, accuracy, etc.
- Routing of disclosures, tracking, printing, scanning, and indexing.
- Maintain working knowledge of all current mortgage regulations and changes in regulations.
- Participate in periodic on-site audits and examinations to verify employee’s compliance with guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- 1 year experience in a Mortgage Disclosure Desk or a similar regulatory support role.
- Working knowledge of TRID, federal/state compliance, and disclosure regulations.
- Familiarity with Encompass (Ellie Mae) is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong judgment, work ethic, and communication skills.
- May require occasional business travel; valid driver’s license and auto insurance in good standing if applicable.
