We are calling all CURRENT University of Oregon students (ideally juniors and seniors)! Here is an opportunity to work for a premier social networking app only for college students. This opportunity is a chance to be at the forefront as they launch their platform today. We are seeking someone fashionable, connected on campus, comfortable on social media (Instagram, TikTok, etc), and outgoing!
Compensation: $17.50/hr Bonuses ($2/person that signs up)
Availability: Flexible schedule. 5 hours/week for September.
Our client is looking for a vibrant and enthusiastic University of Oregon student to join their team as a Social Media Marketing Intern. You will be vital in promoting the App within your college community and beyond. Your creativity and influence will help them build a strong presence among students, attract participants to our fashion contests, and drive app engagement.
This role will be 5 hours/week for September and may be extended based on client needs. The candidate must be a current student and, ideally, starting their junior or senior years on campus.
Job Duties:
- Create engaging content related to fashion on the App, including clicks and videos that resonate with the college demographic.
- The expectation is to create 4 ‘user-generated content’ per week.
- Participate and encourage your college students to participate and “vote” in the fashion contests hosted on the App, showcasing style and creativity. The App has a live-streaming feature.
- It is expected to go live at least twice per week.
- Promote the App within your college or university by genuine organic word-of-mouth.
- Utilize social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) to increase app visibility and attract new users. You would be provided with content to use on social media.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current student at the University of Oregon
- Fashion-forward individual
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Solid understanding of social media
- Active on social media (TikTok, Instagram, etc) with 1K followers
- Solid understanding of content creation and audience engagement
- Comfortable with public speaking and live interactions
