What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Assembler - Inventory Control position at Camtronics?
Camtronics, a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, a NYSE-traded company (NYSE-HEI) is seeking a Manufacturing Assembler.
The manufacturing assembler performs aerospace component assembly utilizing various equipment. The assembler will assist in inventory control by issuing parts and kits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Completes assembly per documentation provided.
- Works to approved documentation such as repair order, Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI).
- Use of shop tools and various shop equipment.
- Document traceability of components used in assembly on manufacturing orders.
- Review specific tasks daily to issue parts / kits to customer work orders and manufacturing orders and move to specific departments.
- Perform monthly cycle counts on inventory and help with year end physical inventory count.
- Adheres to company procedures and policies regarding personnel and quality issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Experience:
- Hands on manufacturing experience using small hand tools and shop equipment.
- Previous experience in inventory environment with kitting preferred.
- Mechanically inclined and detail oriented.
- Ability to interpret specifications and blueprints.
Specialized Knowledge or Abilities:
- Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
- Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge. Familiar with Microsoft Office products. Experience with Quantum software or an ERP system preferred.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to use mathematics to solve problems.
- Reasoning Abilities: Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, strict attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize as necessary.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand; walk; bend, squat, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The team member may occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near high temperature equipment.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
