Estimate projects and manage the awarded ones
Role Description
Reviewing blueprints, technical documents, and specifications to determine the work needed to be done.
Process RFIs, Shop Drawings, Submittals, and other required forms
Obtain quotes from material vendors
Create accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment
Present estimates to management in the review process.
Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
Keep detailed records of estimates, bids, contracts, and other relevant documents
Informing management of any issues
Make certain work is being built in accordance with contract documents
Ensure material is coordinated with field Superintendent and foreman
Qualifications
U.S. High School diploma with proven experience, or associated degree with experience.
5 years’ experience in project management in the drywall commercial construction industry
Understanding of contracts and project management principles
Proficiency in estimating tools like On-Screen Takeoff / Quick Bid
Basic knowledge in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
Knowledge of uploading and managing web-based document storage
Pass E-Verify
Knowledge of construction site operations and management
