Splasher's Waterpark Lifeguard

Ensures the safety of all participants in and around the Water Park

• Become familiar with all policies, rules and regulations as described in Water Park Manual.

• Be proactive in preventing accidents.

• Be professional and tactful in the enforcement of Water Park rules and regulation.

• Respond quickly to all emergency situations including administration of Emergency care to any person injured in the Water Park area.

• Promptly complete, or assist in the completion of water rescue and/or incident report.

• Convey a professional image through a positive attitude and proper attire.

• Establish and maintain good customer service and provide assistance in a courteous manner at all times.

• Work all assigned shifts or secure an approved substitute.

• Wear staff uniform while on duty.

• Female uniform consists of Lifeguard shorts and suit, shirt is optional.

• Male uniform consists of Lifeguard shorts and shirt

• Inspect facility for cleanliness and perform cleaning duties as required.

• Be early to lifeguard stations to ensure prompt relief of fellow guard and provide backup coverage to other zones when appropriate.

• Follow all facility rules to "set the standard" for the guest. Lead by example.

• Carry out all duties as outlined from the Lifeguard Manual, written communications, staff meetings, and verbal communications.

• Take the necessary actions when dealing with patrons who are causing disturbances, or who persist in violating expressed policies and procedures.

• Work closely with fellow employees to ensure quality service and a friendly environment for our patrons.

• Remain flexible in terms of shift scheduling to accommodate the changing needs of the Water Park, our patrons, and special events.

Must have weekend and evening availability.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $13.50 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Lifeguard: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• First Aid Certification (Preferred)
• Lifeguard Training (Preferred)
