What are the responsibilities and job description for the ‘l Bistro (Restaurant) Supervisor position at Canad Inns Destination Centre Grand Forks?
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all duties within the restaurant at an exceptional level, in order to properly train new employees of such standards. The Supervisor must be willing to work as a hands-on employee in all areas as necessary. The Supervisor will help minimize the costs of operating the restaurant while maximizing revenue. The Supervisor will assist in the implementation and maintenance of up-selling and incentive programs. The Supervisor may coordinate the recruitment, selection and orientation activities of all FOH restaurant employees. The Supervisor will ensure time sheets are completed in an orderly and timely fashion. The Supervisor will participate in a monthly inspection of furniture, fixtures and equipment with the Maintenance Manager and General Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to team.
- Assist Manager in running of the restaurant.
- Taking and fulfilling of guests meal and drink orders.
- Providing a positive atmosphere.
- Attends to guests needs and requests.
- All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience in the hospitality industry preferred.
- Proven leadership and entrepreneurial abilities.
- Understanding the need for punctuality, efficiency, quality control and customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining professional behavior while creating a ward, fun and hospitable environment to ensure all guests feel welcome.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
