This position is responsible for building product orders and loading delivery trucks, while maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse. This job requires punctuality, attention to detail, and lifting loads repetitively. This job is physical in nature and requires the repeated lifting of 50 lbs. The Order Picker will hand select and audit orders by working from order sheets to build accurate loads for route trucks, using a manual pallet jack.
Position Responsibilities Overview:
- Efficiently and accurately pick customer orders
- Build stable pallets from pick sheets and properly wrap and stage them
- Ensure that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped
- Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment
- Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions
- Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards
- Unload and restock returned product and pallets
- Perform general housekeeping duties in the warehouse and the immediate grounds

Skills Necessary to Perform the Job:
- Ability to perform physical tasks, as outlined in the description above
- Strong work ethic and desire to perform above expectations
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Excellent reading and comprehension skills
- 2 years previous warehouse work REQUIRED
- Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree)
- 3 year of steady work experience
Work Time & Compensation:
- Compensation starts at $18.00 per hour INCENTIVE PAY (potential to add $150/week to pay)
- This is a full-time position 30-40 hrs. a week
- Monday-Friday no weekend work
- Typical schedule is 10:00 am to close, which can fluctuate depending on season but generally around 6:00pm
