The Performance Management and Attribution Business Analyst, Technology & Data is responsible for conducting business analysis and providing project management support for IT initiatives, primarily focusing on areas within the Fund performance management and attribution.
Accountabilities :
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions. Document and validate results with subject matter experts and drive the creation of strong system specifications that enable the development and / or acquisition of appropriate systems to meet business requirements.Liaise with application developers and CPP Investments’ business subject matter experts to brainstorm and document innovative solutions alternatives. Evaluate alternatives relative to business requirements and provide advice that is rooted in deep subject matter expertise.Participate in process design meetings, architectural discussions, and translating outcomes into process documentation. Conduct process walkthroughs and validation with business subject matter experts. Document the key risks, mitigating controls, performance measures, cost drivers, and business continuity plans for processes.Coaching and training users and driving user adoption of the product.Qualifications :
8-16 years of relevant experience with knowledge of the investment management and lifecycle for private and public investments.Domain knowledge within financial performance management and attribution with deep business understanding of business processes / functions supporting these areas.Delivery Experience with implementations of analytical products for financial performance management is considered an asset.Experience with Simcorp Dimension in the below platforms is considered an added advantage.Proven business process modeling skills and solid understanding of project life cycle and the capability to apply best practices knowledge to unique and dynamic situations.Demonstrate CPP Investments' guiding principles of High Performance, Integrity, and Partnership.Proven attention to accuracy and detail, highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.Exceptional (written and verbal) communication skills and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a high-performing culture, under pressure and with time-sensitive deadlines.Personable, easily interacts with all types of personalities and at all levels with a high degree of professionalism.Proven ability to work independently as well as to perform effectively in a team-oriented and open-concept environment.A flexible / hybrid work environment combining in-office collaboration and remote working.At CPP Investments, we are committed to diversity and equitable access to employment opportunities based on ability.
